Linda is an accomplished strategy and operations specialist with over 13 years’ experience providing technical assistance and managing enterprises specializing in water and renewable energy. She has hands on experience developing and running social enterprises and is very passionate about making a positive difference in people’s lives.
She was the Kenya Operations Director for SolarAid/SunnyMoney and played a key role in the amazing growth in sales that the team in Kenya achieved in the take-off years in which SunnyMoney soared to number one retailer of solar lights in all of Africa. She possesses excellent leadership and project management skills and is also an effective team builder and deliverer of growth.
She is an outstanding advocate for renewable energy and social enterprises in Africa having represented the sector and spoken on big stage occasions including at the 2014 UN Climate Summit in New York and the 2015 opening ceremony of the International Year of Light in Paris. Linda holds an MBA and a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from leading Kenyan Universities.
Nancy is an inherent leader, highly influential and a strategic thinker. She is highly motivated and focuses her effort on developing people and bringing tangible positive change to the environment. She is able to compose and implement sophisticated strategic plans and has a consistent track record of growing organizational capacities, improving work systems, achieving goals and defining the organization’s direction. She has a strong managerial background with 13 years of experience in administrative management at senior and mid-level management. She holds a Master Degree in International Communications Management from The Hague University in the Netherlands, a Post-graduate Diploma in Public Relations Management from the Kenya Institute of Management and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Political Science and Public Administration from the University of Nairobi, Kenya. She is competent in communications management, public relations management, fundraising, business advisory, project development and project management.
Paul has over 14 years of experience in financial management and accounting in Kenya including roles at differing levels for several international development contractors. He is dedicated to quality financial stewardship and has an extensive background in procurement, contracting, cost accounting, budget oversight, and financial reporting processes as well as human resources management and general administrative oversight. He has supported startups to get them up and running, strengthened general operations of existing entities, and successfully implemented close-out of donor funded projects. Paul is a CPA (K) holder with an MBA in Strategic Management and BA-Economics and Mathematics from the University Of Nairobi.
